What our research is. Reports and explainers published by General Assets Research Group on this website are general information about the economy, financial markets, trading and investment funds. They are not investment research within the meaning of the EU rules on investment research, they have not been prepared under rules designed to promote the independence of investment research, and they are not subject to a prohibition on dealing ahead of their publication.

No advice or recommendation. Nothing in our research is investment, legal or tax advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. It does not take account of anyone's circumstances or objectives.

Sources and accuracy. Figures are taken from the sources listed in each report, at the dates shown. Official statistics are often revised after publication; we correct errors that are drawn to our attention and note material changes in the report. Statements about future developments are those of the institutions quoted, not forecasts of General Assets Research Group.

Conflicts of interest. No report on this website concerns a fund or other product that General Assets Research Group manages, sponsors or distributes. Should a report ever cover a sector or company in which General Assets Research Group holds a commercial interest, that report will say so.
